As we continue to update the Tri-Cities Timeline, we will add any actions community members can take to this page as well as the timeline, so that they are easy to find in one list.

Donate to Amber’s family

There is a GoFundMe organized by those close to the family and the only fundraiser approved by the family. The GoFundMe states “Funds will be used for the immediate and long term needs of the children, as well as to lay Amber to rest.”

Donate to Angelica’s family

There is a GoFundMe organized by Angelica’s aunt to help lay Angelica to rest and support the family.

Support Tumbleweird

Tumbleweird is a local, community-driven paper. They broke the story of Huizar’s allegations of sexual misconduct a month before the murders of Amber and Angelica. They just published their next article in their ongoing coverage of these events.
Tumbleweird articles:
Alleged child rapist working at a RSD had a long history of investigations for crimes involving children (April)

How did this happen? How did the system fail to protect the victims of Elias Huizar? (June)

Judge Bronson Brown, who denied Amber’s first temporary protection order, is up for reelection.
Shawn P. Sant, a Franklin County Prosecutor, is his opponent.

Judge Jacqueline Stam, who approved Amber’s second temporary election order, is running unopposed.
